No-Name Nichols

It's been a while since I've posted. I've been lazy lately...or busy...yeah busy that's it.

I have officially entered the third trimester of my pregnancy. So far, it has not been the walk in the park that the second trimester was. My belly is getting larger by the minute and is causing my lung capacity to decrease. I am also exhausted about 70% of the time. Enough complaining, though! In the midst of all of this, I get to feel a tiny little creature move around, wiggle, kick, and punch my insides...it's the most amazing feeling in the world!

In early March, we decided to go for one of those fancy 3D/4D ultrasounds. We were there for about 45 minutes and she had her arm in front of her face the entire time. This is one of the only good shots of her from that first session:

I think she really looks like Lyla in this picture. We shall see what she looks like when she's born!

Since we had so many problems getting the baby to cooperate - even after the Ultrasound Tech beating on my stomach for 20 minutes (not a pleasant experience) - they scheduled us to come back in two weeks. Here are the results from our St. Patrick's Day session:
Look at those chubby cheeks!

Now, to discuss the title of this blog post - our child still has no name! We have a few on the short list, but cannot finalize our decision. I feel like we've used up all of our girl names with the first two we had. It's so much pressure, naming a person. Whatever name we give her she will have for the rest of her life. What if she hates it? What if her schoolmates find a mean way to make fun of it? We'll figure it out, I'm certain...just not sure when. I'm told that my baby brother didn't have a name until he was 2 days old. I am hopeful we come to a decision before then but there are no guarantees!

If you have suggestions, now's your chance to name our baby!
